KTV win the case

The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the government to “do the needful” to provide satellite link to Kantipur Television with in one month.

A divisional bench of SC Justices Min Bahadur Rayamajhi and Bal Ram KC issued the order Monday afternoon.

Kantipur TV had filed a petition on March 21 at the SC, after the previous royal government denied satellite link to the television despite all necessary homework.

Lawyers Ram Krishna Nirala and Madhav Basnet advocated for KTV while Narendra Raj Pathak and Brajesh Kumar Pyakured were on the governments’ panel.
