Court sends five accused in Dhiraj murder case to judicial custody
Lalitpur District court on Sunday passed a verdict to send five persons accused of kidnapping and subsequently killing an eight year old boy Dhiraj Adhikari a month ago to jail for judicial detention.
Those sent to Nakkhu jail for judicial custody, include Nabin Shrestha (21), his elder brother Raj Kumar Shrestha (23) of Sainbu-8, Tika Ram Shresta (23) who used to work as a bouncer at Liza club in Sundhara, Bhoj Kumar Lama, driver of the cab that carried the boy's dead body, and Raju Lama from Tika Bhairav of Lalitpur district. On October 8, Dhiraj, an eight year old boy who studied in class two at Sahid Dharma Bhakta School, Sainbu, was brutally killed by his abductors.
