Another re-arrest

Kathmandu, January 5-Plainclothes security personnel on wednesday re-arrested Ram Prasad Timalsina, a leader of the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) from Sadarkhor (jail) in Dilli Bazaar after the Supreme Court ordered the government to release him.

Though the prison administration freed Timalsina, security personnel who came in a cab rearrested him from the Sadarkhor premises.Human rights defenders tried to prevent his re-arrest but failed. Timalsina has been kept in detention since Ashar 14, 2061. He was shifted to various detention centres during the period.
