CJ returns home

Kathmandu, Sept. 11: Chief Justice Dilip Kumar Paudel returned home on saturday after taking part in the 22nd Biennial Congress on the Law of the World held in Chinese capital Beijing and commercial city Shanghai.In a precise talk to journalists at the VIP lounge of the Tribhuvan International Airport, Chief Justice Paudel said discussions were held on the topics like legal systems, rule of law and work scope of the judiciary besides exchanging experiences among the participating chief justices and legal experts on the occasion.He said his participation in the conference has played an important role in further strengthening the symbiotic relations between Nepal and China.Answering one of the questions of the reporters, Mr. Paudel said the court functions as per its own processes and legal procedures.The Congress participated by chief justices from 40 different countries had begun from September 4.
