Kathmandu, September 7-The Supreme Court today continued its stay order issued a month ago allowing FM radios to air news till the apex court gives its final verdict.
A division bench of justices Min Bahadur Rayamajhi and Arjun Prasad Singh decided to continue the stay order following a hearing. The bench said the stay order issued a month ago would be continued till the final decision on the case.
Agni Kharel, who pleaded on behalf of Nepal FM, said the date for final hearing has not been scheduled as of now, as government prosecutors are not ready for the same.Immediately after the court issued the stay order, the government had moved the apex court seeking revocation of the stay order.
